Woods Shelter - Wood's Home Emergency Youth Shelter - PHONE: 317-1777 and - FAX: 317-1790. This shelter is for anyone under the age of 18 who have no place to sleep, are in conflict with their parent(s) or caregiver(s) and who need a safe place to be. Referrals will be made by parents, teachers, Child Welfare workers, police, Social Services agencies and youth. LENGTH OF STAY: from 1 day up to 15 days Maximum. SERVICES PROVIDED will include: private sleeping space, food, showers, telephone, laundry facilities, clothing, transportation, crisis counselling and help to find solutions.
Safe Haven Shelter - The Safe Haven emergency shelter serves abused women and their children. Phone: 223-0483 or Fax: 223-4889 and located in Taber, AB. The average stay is 3-5 days with a maximum stay of 7 days. Residents have access to clothing, food, and personal items that they may need.
Community LINKS - Located right outside the 2nd floor entrance to the Bay. LINKS is a central location to access consistent and current information for community services.
